School of Architecture, IPS AcademyNATIONAL SEMINAR
P.A.C.E.-2018 (Planning, Architecture, Construction and Engineering).
Seminar has evolved as the unique relevant platform for delivering the knowledge and discussion on architecture and design in India. This platform is progressive nature for the research scholars, Academicians and Practicing architect. PACE: 2018 will be a celebration of ideas, examining different approaches to achieving architectural excellence that challenge cultural, economic, social and political environments. This year, Seminar is about “Emergent Approach” within architecture and engineering field We are intrigued by the role of the architect as the maker of environments and connections that extend the bounds of traditional practice. It will be a national Seminar of evolving approach combining the presentation of research from all over the India with the ideas, narratives and motivations that lie behind that work. Sessions will include a range of keynote speakers from all over India, as well as extended panel discussions and short interrogative sessions bringing together the work and ideas of many architects, engineers, academicians, researchers. The nature of the Seminar theme also demands that we look beyond the boundaries of architecture. In this context, the National Seminar; PACE- 2018 will ask one core question: ‘what is the Pace of changing role of Planning, Architecture, Construction and Engineering in India?’ which may answer the futuristic issues of the fraternity in all respect. This Seminar also clubbed with the Design Trophy “IPSA Trophy” for the students on the futuristic approach.
PARTICIPATION:
Architects, planners and engineers working at all walk of fields and students of fourth year & onwards of architecture and engineering colleges are also eligible to participate in National Seminar.
